The most inevitable use for an ornament is on a Christmas tree. A tree decorated with crystal ornaments is elegant, sophisticated and beautiful. The crystal catches the light from the string of Christmas lights on the tree and throws it in the middle of the branches, adding a whole new dimension of light and color to the tree. Although ornaments for a tree can be in any shape, you may want to think about focusing on one or two shapes for your collection. For instance, you might choose to fetch crystal snowflake ornaments to decorate your tree.
Start a variety for a Child
Many companies that make crystal ornaments put out an every year ornament as part of their collection. For instance, Swarovski has an every year Christmas ornament that they publish each year. If you have a young child in your family it can be fun to start a variety for them by buying them the every year ornament each year. As they grow older each ornament will have special meaning to them because it came at a particular time in their childhood. This variety will be something they can look back fondly upon no matter what their age.
Start a variety Focused on Shape
Although snowflake and stars are some of the most beloved shapes for crystal ornaments, other shapes like hearts, butterflies and crosses are also quite common. You may want to start a variety that focuses around a particular shape. For instance, you might choose to only fetch heart shaped crystal ornaments from a variety of manufacturers.
